No regular boat service
There is no regular boat service to/from Angthong Marine Park, only way to get there is take a day tour. There are no boat tour from Surathani or Koh Tao. Only day tours to Angthong Marine Park are from Koh Phangan island and Koh Samui island.Camping and staying over night
If you wish to stay over night, camping or rent a tent, there is no reservation needed. Rent of tent for 2 person is 250 thb per person per night include torch, clean sleeping bag, mosquito net and tent
Booking accommodation
Only way to book the bungalow is through the National Marine Park site www.dnp.go.th. Please find the park under name “MU KOH ANGTHONG MARINE PARK”
Restaurant
Restaurant at the park main island is open daily 8 am till 10 pm. Food is fresh and daily delivered. Cheapest meal is vegetable fried rice at 60 baht. Delicious meals with good portions cost 100-120 baht, worth every penny, but place your order as soon as possible, because preparation is slow. Expect waiting for 30-40 minutes for meals in this uncrowded restaurant.Electric at park
Electric is available only 6 pm till 10 pm, made by diesel generator. Feel free to bring you solar powered battery chargers.Internet and mobile service
Free internet-wifi signal is available on the main island Koh Whua Talap (at and around restaurant) as well as mobile signal and land line. 3G also work well.Transport around park
Kayaks and longtail boats are available for rent. Price for rent a kayak for a day is 500 thb for double or triple kayak.Getting back from park
Transport back from the park to the Phangan or Samui island is charged 500 thb per person as company needs to keep a seats for you. Please contact us at our visitor center, we will be able arrange the transfer for you.Cr : angthongmarinepark.com
